Never Have We Ever - Full Time RV Life Edition
We thought it would be fun this week to break down some myths and stereotypes people have asked us about in this new lifestyle. Here are a few things we have never done as full timers. Never slept at Walmart, arrived in the dark, been homeless, ran out of money or driven into Mexico.
A Texas Sized View
Was an “unbelievable or amazing” sunset worth the risk of having “sketchy” neighbors nearby that made us feel unsafe?
Many times, in our lives, we would have said a resounding “NO”, not based on what we had experienced but simply based on opinions of others.
We would have sacrificed the “unbelievable or amazing” experience because we focused what could go wrong and were blinded from what could go right.
How many times have we missed an experience or adventure because we played it safe?
Don’t Be Afraid of Your Fears!
Why do we still feel fear at this stage in life? Because we are doing something new, something challenging and we care about the outcome.
What we are not is afraid! We were not so afraid of all the possible “bad” outcomes that we did not even try. Not so paralyzed that we accepted the status quo as all that we could become.
New Culture, New Adventures
Traveling abroad can allow you to visit rare sites, see rare animals, eat new foods but best of all it allows you to find commonality with people all over the world.

You may ask, what is going on? We thought you said you were living in the Queen full time for at least a year.
If You Want to See What’s Good About America…. Go Camping!
Now that we are in our third month of full time rv living, one thing has been constant for us in our travels.
The one thing we have found that we can count on from the farms to the vineyards. From the museum and bowling alley parking lots to the state parks to private campgrounds.
All these places offer us such different experiences, yet they all have one thing in common.
Nice people!
The Night the Swamp Attacked Us
One way we stay on budget through the months is by balancing the type of camping we do. We try to do as much “free” camping as we can find.
This is Where the Story Begins
It was here in nature the idea of full time RV life got it’s roots. As our kids we leaving home, and the nest was emptying, we craved more. The story begins here..
