Rediscovery and Perspective

4 Hidden Life Gems of Full Time Rving

This photo is from the top of Black Elks Peak, Custer State Park, South Dakota. In foreground is Native American prayer flags and in background is a stone built fire tower completed in 1938.

Full timing is all about new experiences and discovery.

When we travel to a new place, see new sites, learn about new cultures and people, it has the potential to unlock something inside of us.

We might rediscover a childhood dream that has been buried under adult responsibilities for far too long.

Becoming friends with people who have different ideas, hobbies, or passions opens our eyes to new possibilities and sparks a new dream in us.

Travel allows our spirit to become rekindled and full of curiosity.

Curious to learn more, see more, and do more.

I was standing on the highest mountain of them all, and round about beneath me was the whole hoop of the world. And while I stood there I saw more than I can tell and I understood more than I saw; for I was seeing in a sacred manner the shapes of all things in the spirit, and the shape of all shapes as they must live together like one being.

Seeing the vastness of our oceans and deserts, the heights of the mountains, the openness of the prairies reminds you of how short your time here on earth is

With perspective, it allows us to see that our current problems causing stress and sleepless nights, is even smaller and much less significant than we gave it energy for.

Rediscovering old dreams, creating new ones, and getting our perspectives realigned has been one of our favorite hidden life gems on the road!
