Pace of Life

4 Hidden Life Gems in Full Time RVing Part 3

In a world constantly on the go, fixated on grinding, hustling, and filling your day with as much as possible, we wanted different.

Full time rving has allowed us to take greater control of our pace of life.

We now have more time and intention to find more stillness in our world.

It is much easier to see and appreciate details around us that previously were invisible.

The vibrant colors of the birds, the natural beauty of the mountains, the abundance of life buzzing around in the bloom of the spring wildflowers.

These things existed in our traditional life, but what we were missing was the time to slow down and appreciate it all.

Full time rving, and living minimally, means we get to work far less than ever before, allowing us to slow down all aspects of life.

Hiking now is not about going out and back as fast as we can but instead it’s about going slowly to see as much as we can, to enjoy each step, and appreciate our ability to do so.

Paddle boarding is no longer a race, but now is about enjoying the suns rays, the sounds of the water, and looking for the elusive manatee.

Our conversations no longer happen in the passing of running kids to and from, racing to the gym, or getting back to the office.  Life is now very intentional.

We can sit and talk, watch, or just listen to the amazing world around us for as long as we choose and wherever we choose.

When our new or old friends ask us what we love most about living life on the road, being able to control the pace of our life is one of the first things we mention.
