Until We Meet Again

Ed “Pops” Skinner

The past couple weeks we have been a bit quieter than normal on social media as we deal with the loss of a family member.

Andrea’s father, Ed “Pops” Skinner passed away and onto a better place recently.

He passed knowing he was loved, appreciated, and that his family would be taken care of. 

Pops was a man of few words, but when he did speak, there was sure to be a laugh that followed. 

He was a constant at every family gathering, never missing wrestling or gymnastics meets, a dance recital, or a school function. 

One of his most frequent lines was something he would tell us at the end of every family gathering,  

“Thanks for coming, next time come back when you can’t stay as long”.

Well Pops, with tears in our eyes and sadness in our hearts, we wish you could have stayed longer.

However, our heartbreak is eased knowing your pain is gone.  

You left our family in a better place and provided us so many valuable life lessons along the way. 

As our “manarchy” you will be missed but never forgotten. 

Until we meet again Pops, thanks for everything.
