Where Did We Go?
For the first time in two years, Andrea and I decided to take time away from our weekly blog. It was not because we were tired of it, but more so because life led us in that direction. Sometimes growing stronger together requires time apart for the growth of the individual.
A Life Lesson from Mother Nature
Our brief “winter” will help us appreciate these long summer nights all that much more and allowed us to reflect on the importance of what you don’t want in life at times.
Why Did We Choose an Airstream?
The airstream creates conversations in every place we have camped. We feel blessed to meet people and hear their stories about their desire to have an airstream at one point in their adventure, while seeing their current adventuring rig. The fact this happens all over the country is a testament to the history of Airstream as a company and inspires us to live up to that legacy in our full-time adventures in the “Queen”.
Slowing Down and New Community
After our first week of beaches, sunshine, and amazing weather, we realized something was still missing.
We were missing people. Some specific people from our past like, family and friends, but we were also missing meeting new people and fellow campers.
If You Want to See What’s Good About America…. Go Camping!
Now that we are in our third month of full time rv living, one thing has been constant for us in our travels.
The one thing we have found that we can count on from the farms to the vineyards. From the museum and bowling alley parking lots to the state parks to private campgrounds.
All these places offer us such different experiences, yet they all have one thing in common.
Nice people!
