4 Steps to Full Timing Part 2
Some moments we were in sync financially. Saving first and living comfortably but well within our means.
At other times, we were not. Finding ourselves with credit card debt rolling over month to month, a car payment, and a lifestyle that felt good in the moment but was not sustainable. Reflecting on this now it is clear, we got caught in “keeping up with the Joneses” syndrome.
Slowing Down and New Community
After our first week of beaches, sunshine, and amazing weather, we realized something was still missing.
We were missing people. Some specific people from our past like, family and friends, but we were also missing meeting new people and fellow campers.
Falling Victim to the Lifestyle
As 2021 ended, Andrea and I had to face a truth about our transition from our stick and bricks home into Colorado to our full time Airstream life.
We had to hold ourselves accountable for some shortcomings individually and commit to fixing them together.
The issue we had to face was not a stranger. We knew about it beforehand.
People we followed had warned us of it. Yet somehow, it still happened to us

Myrtle Beach is our lifelong home we never knew we had, but one the universe knew we needed.
