A Tranquil January in the Nature Coast of Florida
As winter settled in, we've been relishing the stillness and serenity of Florida's Nature Coast. This season has gifted us quiet moments and the chance to truly embrace the slower pace of winter's fallow.
Staying put for such an extended time—by our standards—has allowed us to concentrate on work, fitness, and new friendships. With our work thriving, establishing a fitness routine has become significantly easier without the frequent relocations. We've also met wonderful people who, like us, prefer to skip the snow season. 😊
Camping at the Suwannee River Hideaway Campground has been the perfect blend of luxury and nature. The convenience and comfort of a campground paired with the raw beauty of the great outdoors is unbeatable. Being close enough to catch flights from Gainesville or Tampa, yet far enough from high-rises and bustling cities, has given us the best of both worlds.
The star-gazing here is phenomenal, and the Barred Owls serenading us at night—well, who knew they could be that loud? Their calls have added a magical touch to our evenings under the stars.
